A scientist builder working across disciplines.

Abhijith Padukana is an interdisciplinary biotechnology researcher and technology innovator whose work links experimental biology with engineering, computation and practical deployment. His scientific interests span fungal and microbial biotechnology, plant health, nanobiotechnology, environmental remediation, molecular biology, bioinformatics and intelligent agricultural systems.

The same translational mindset runs through his entrepreneurial work. He founded Dr.Mushroom Agro Tech Pvt Ltd in Kerala, India, and co founded Reclaimer Industries Ltd in the United Kingdom, creating a professional trajectory that connects laboratory research, field problems, startup development, consulting and international agricultural biotechnology.

His published research moves from low frequency physical interactions with plants and green nanoparticle synthesis to microbial heavy metal stress, nanomycoremediation, PGPF secretomes and biomagnetic approaches to plant disease mitigation.

“Research becomes most valuable when it can survive the transition from a controlled experiment to a real biological system.”
